SLAPZ Car Audio was started in 2022 by Alan Edwards. Alan is a 25 year vet in the car audio industry. He was competing in Iasca DB drag events in the late 90’s. His career in car audio catapulted from there as an installer for Suburban Audio in Montgomeryville Pa , then for Bryn Mawr stereo which later became the publicly traded Tweeter Inc. as an enclosure builder and installer. He later started a very successful contracting company American Roofing & Remodeling, in 2012. But his love for car audio and living his dream was his motivation for starting SLAPZ audio and providing the beginner/novice bass head a company that not only provides an exception budget minded product but will actually get back to you with a question about installation or product. His goal is to provide a good product, at a lower price with real customer support, something he feels the industry lacks and always has.
